Evaluation and Mitigation of Flash Flood Risks in Arid Regions: A Case Study of Wadi Sudr in Egypt

Flash floods threaten the lives of people and properties in different regions around world, especially arid semi-arid due to infrequent flood events. The current study aims assess geomorphological parameters Wadi Sudr, South Sinai Egypt evaluate flash risks provide adequate mitigation methods. This presents an integrated method that combines geographic information system (GIS) watershed modeling (WMS) with HEC-HMS visualize events area.
